Marjorie "Marge" Stern

York - Mrs. Marjorie Kelly Stern, 84, died, Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House of Rock Hill.

Mrs. Stern was born March 31, 1926, in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Michael and Bridgette Kelly. She was raised in Ireland but returned to the US in 1944. Marge was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was an avid golfer and tireless volunteer.

She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Stern; two sons Michael Stern and his wife, Karen and Robert Stern and his wife Helen; a daughter, Colleen Stern and a granddaughter, Kelly Stern.

A Funeral Mass will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731 or St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
