Mark Chrismon
CLOVER - Mark Anthony Chrismon, 56, of 2025 Templeton Road, died Saturday, October 29, 2011.
Memorial services will be 4:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Clover, with Rev. Dean Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
Born in Port Smith, Virginia, Mark is the son of Dana Chrismon Funderburk and the late Alton Eugene Chrismon. He was retired as the manager of the Lake Wylie True Value Hardware Store and a former member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. Mark loved life and all the blessings it brought. He was a devoted son and brother and loved being the fun uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was an accomplished handy man and loved to bowl. He loved being involved with the Lake Wylie Community Theater and Yorkville Players.
He was a devoted pet owner and raised Bassett Hounds for awhile which brought him much joy. He loved gardening and spent time enjoying the outdoors. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, who
will greatly miss his laughter, his wit, and his complete love for each.
He is survived by his mother, Dana Chrismon Funderburk and step father, Johnny Jackson Funderburk; a brother, Matt Chrismon (Karen); a sister, Linda Myers (Steve); two step-brothers, Johnny Funderburk and Jack Funderburk (Linda); and several nieces and nephews.
