Ms. Marsha Moore, age 78, passed away June 10, 2017 at Presbyterian Hospital. She was surrounded by her children, and other family and friends as she peacefully passed into the eternities.
Ms. Moore was born in Shelby, NC. Marsha's crowning achievement in life was raising her family of four children and being a faithful member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also had 16 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She is the daughter of the late William Bernard Clark and Mary Betty Coble. She was also preceded in death by her son David Alexander Moore and grand-daughter Savannah Angeleigh Moore. She is survived by her sons Wayne Moore of Smithfield, Utah, and Stacy Moore of Paradise, TX, her daughter Kimberly Brown of Charlotte, NC, her brother William Bernard Clark Jr. and her sister Elizabeth Smith.
Ms. Moore worked nearly 20 years for Carolina Carbon & Stainless in Charlotte, NC as their Purchasing Agent. Marsha was a great mentor to children and young adults while teaching in Sunday School in the LDS Church. She was a true friend to many in the Westchester community on the west side of Charlotte, as well as a friend to many in her church community. For years, she volunteered her time at the homeless shelter in Charlotte, NC treating many with kindness, respect, and words of encouragement. She often opened her home to support others in times of need, helping them through transitions in life, introducing them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and loving them through times of crisis. Those who knew her personally experienced Ms. Moore's generosity, kindness, and tender-hearted love and have been forever changed.
Services will be held Thursday June 15th from 3-4:30pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 7032 Mcllwaine Rd, Huntersville, NC. Receiving will be immediately after the services from 4:30-6pm.
