Mary Ehrenburb

YORK - Mary Ehrenberg, nee Kitinsky, passed to her "eternal home" Feb. 13, 2014, at the age of 83. Born March 30, 1930, in Riverhead, N.Y., to Anna and Andrew Kitinsky, she is an alumna of Rider University and Sewanee: The University of the South. As an accomplished Realtor, she won awards for closing more than $1 million in sales in 1977 and more than $2 million in 1978, as well as the Distinguished Salesman Award in 1978 from The Charlotte Sales and Marketing Executives Inc., before starting her own successful firm, Ehrenberg and Associates, in 1979. She retired in 2005. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sophie Smith.

She is survived by her sister, Anna Berezny, of Riverhead, N.Y., her children: Paul Ehrenberg Jr., of Charlotte; Diane Seubert (Charles), of Davie, Fla.; Tim Ehrenberg, of Charlotte; and Art Ehrenberg (Shari) of Lake Wylie, S.C., as well as eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1623 Carmel Road, Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
