ROCK HILL - Mary Sue DeAmicis Gainey, 71, of 4445 Homestead Rd., died Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, at the chapel of Whitesell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Hollis Lakes Rd.. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Grover J. Gainey Jr.; her sons, James "J.W." Burns and Johnny Ray Gainey (Melody); her daughter, Christie Flaherty (Carlton Ashburn); a brother, Michael DeAmicis; and a sister, Edie Rosko; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, N.C., 28607.
