Mary Hazel House

Rock Hill - Mrs. Mary Hazel House, 89, died Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

A celebration of Life Service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Westerly Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of Bogart, Ga., Mrs. House was a daughter of the late Joel David Stinchcomb and Emma Sue Culver Stinchcomb. Mrs. House was a member of Westerly Hills Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a lady who was devoted to God, her family and her husband, Harold House. She loved to cook and sew as well as helping others.

Surviving are two sons, Joe House and his wife, Debbie of Lancaster and Nicky House of Georgia; one daughter, Patricia Adams of Alabama; three grandchildren; Ann House Boatwright of Rock Hill, Jody House of Lancaster, and Brandon Adams of Alabama; and three great-grandchildren, Zachary Boatwright, William Boatwright and Hannah Boatwright all of Rock Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harold House.
