Mary Elizabeth Jackson Housley (Betty)

Blackstock, SC – Mary Elizabeth Jackson Housley (Betty) passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at her home.

Born in Great Falls, SC, Mrs. Housley was a retired Store Manager.  She was a member of the Garden Club.  She enjoyed reading and puzzles.  She also enjoyed rescuing stray dogs and was active with Vacation Bible School.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Housley Lewis; 4 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents, John Thompson Jackson and Loma Neal Chapman Jackson; her husband, Elmer Emmett Housley and her brother, William Warren Jackson.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 815 Chester Avenue, Great Falls, SC with Rev. David Ussery officiating.
