Mary Christine "Henderson" Johnson

Mary Christine Henderson Johnson passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson was born in Blacksburg, SC. She was the oldest daughter of the late George Washington Henderson and Lily Blanton Turner. Mrs. Johnson was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Johnson was an amazing mother, grandmother, mother in law, sister and aunt. She enjoyed laughter, music, bingo and spending time with her family and close friends at Pruitt Health where she has resided for the last 2 years. She was preceded in death by her late husband Jack P. Johnson as well as her sister Carolyn Quinn. A memorial service for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday February 2, 2018 at Pruitt Health Unit 2 Day Room, 261 S. Herlong Avenue in Rock Hill, SC. Her dear friend Thomas Rainer will be officiating; she will be surrounded by her friends and family. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Jackie Lynn Johnson Varnadore & husband John Thomas Varnadore; her daughter, Ann Marie Johnson; her son, Donald Ray Johnson; her granddaughters, Ashley Marie Varnadore & Emily Michelle Varnadore; her sister, Peggy Tyre, husband Ebb; her brother, Wayne Turner; her brother, Bob Henderson, wife Elaine; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who she loved dearly.
