Mary Marie Jones

York - Mrs. Mary Marie Crook Poff Jones, 88, died Friday, December 19, 2014, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.

A native of Hinton, West Virginia, Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late Clayton Perry Crook and Oma Fritz Crook. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother who always put her children first. She will also be remembered as a person who enjoyed joking around with people. She loved to fish and also to cook. She won several ribbons at local State Fairs for her cooking.

Surviving are two daughters, Sue House and Donna Wolford; a sister, Betty Fox; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
