Mary Christian Magarahan

Mary Christian Magarahan, 90, of Tega Cay, SC passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 4, 2014, with her girls by her side. Mary was born May 12, 1924, in Augusta, GA to Claus and Mary Busch. She lived her life as a loving family woman, devoted friend, and avid animal lover. Some would say she was a "pistol," but that is what made her love and dedication to her family and friends irreplaceable. Mary will be greatly missed by her children, William (Tricia) Christian of Lynchburg, VA and Leslie (Jack) Pemberton of Tega Cay, SC; her grandchildren, Courtney (Scott) Lambert of Charlottesville, VA and Ashley Pemberton of Hilton Head, SC; and her three great-grandsons, Christian, William and Owen Lambert. A mass will be held Saturday, Nov 8, at 10 am at Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Philip Neri (Fort Mill) or Noah's Arks Rescue (Okatie, SC).
