Mary Jane Townsend

Mrs. Mary Jane Euliss Townsend, age 77 transitioned to heaven Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Born in Icard, NC a beloved daughter of the late Verl Lucian and Geneva Ann Euliss. Also preceded by Siblings and their spouses: Patsy Clark and husband James Clark, Evelyn Yount and husband John Yount, Betty Rose Seitz and husband James Seitz, Rebecca Young and husband Charles Young, and Clinton Euliss.

Mary Jane graduated Hilderbran HighSchool in 1957 and was an entrepreneur and business owner until her retirement.

Survivors include her Husband of 57 years, James Allen Townsend of Waxhaw, NC, Daughters: Penny Townsend Onley and husband Robert Onley III of Rock Hill, SC, Leslie Carol Townsend of Waxhaw, NC, Grandchildren: Tiffany Onley Lee and husband Steven J. Lee of Rock Hill, SC, Robert James Onley (Jake) of Rock Hill, SC and Great Grandchildren Samuel James Lee, Benjamin Andrew Lee and David Robert Lee. Nephews and Nieces (and their families): Ronnie & Frances Clark, Carroll & Ann Clark, Tom and Sandy Clark, Debbie and Scott Snipes, Greg Yount, Cheryl Yount Leslie, Pam & John Brown, Vicky Young.

Her Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1 PM from Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Peter Wyns Officiating, also a eulogy by Rev. Marcia Davis and music by Rev. Jesse and Elizabeth Enns and Billy Childers. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
