Mary Bigham Tucker

Rock Hill - Mary Bigham Tucker, 66, of 401 Rockwell Cir., died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Agape Hospice.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at Whitesell Funeral Home and other times at the home of Judy Knowles, 1939 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

Born in Rock Hill, Mary was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen Brookshire Bigham. She was retired from the S.C. Dept. of Employment and Workforce where she was employed for over 37 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and an avid NASCAR fan. Mary enjoyed watching cooking shows, reading, and collecting things. We will miss her wit and humor and the joy she brought into the lives of many. Mary patterned her life after her favorite saying, "They may not remember what you said.....But they will remember how you made them feel".

She is survived by her sisters, Arlene Williams and Donna Bigham; one brother, Jerry Dale Bigham; and a cousin, Judy Knowles. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Tucker.
