Maryellen Cila

October 9, 1940 — March 16, 2022

Fort Mill

Maryellen Cila born Oct. 9th 1940 in Grafton Wisconsin and passed peacefully and surrounded by so much love by three of her children, Angela, Lisa, Danny and her daughter in law MJ on March 16th 2022 in Fort Mill SC  She lived life to the fullest and had a wonderful life. She and her late husband Lou Cila lived in Henderson County NV and that is where they called home. They were best friends and enjoyed traveling, gardening, going to shows and being with family and friends. She truly died of a broken heart shortly after he passed.

In life Maryellen was a feisty energetic woman who had more energy in her little pinky then most did in their whole body. She particularly enjoyed the holidays and looked forward to spending them with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was beloved by all and will be sorely missed.

She is number nine of ten children and is survived by her brother Ralph Ball of Lansing Michigan. Her four children Angela Alfredson, Lisa LaFranca, Daniel LaFranca and Shimane Cahill, two stepsons Sam Cila and Louis Cila, her fifteen grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Renee, Andrew, Kyle, Lauren, Brandon, Olivia, Erika, Alexa, Zander, Gabrielle, Sam, Evan and Victoria and also by her eight great grandchildren, Marcus, Joshua, Vivian, Harlen, Kaidence, Rafael, Charlotte and Parker.

Although you may be gone, your memory will always live on.

We will miss your smiling blue eyes, your soft hands on our face, the way you always smelled so good, our shopping trips with all your bargains, we will miss playing scrabble with you even when you took to much time, listening to Elvis and watching jeopardy and wheel of fortune every night.

We miss you so much our hearts are broken but we take solace in knowing you are with your soulmate and love of your life.

May you always smile down on us and blanket us with your love.
