Marylou Swanton

Mrs. MaryLou Swanton, age 77 passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at Wellmore in Tega Cay, SC. Born in Orange, NJ MaryLou lived most of her life in East Orange, NJ where she worked as a bookkeeper and dispatcher for the family oil business as well as Pierson Oil before settling in Boonton Twp. in 1997. Later in retirement Gene and MaryLou moved to Rock Hill, SC in 2014 to be closer to their grandchildren.

MaryLou is predeceased by her parents, Warren and Katherine Ridgway as well as her five siblings (Judy, Sandy, Alan, Warren & Bud). Left to cherish MaryLou's memory is her beloved husband, Eugene; daughter Susan Wagner (Frank); son Kevin Swanton (Terri), grandchildren, Frank and Kaylee Wagner.

Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Saint Anne Catholic Church, Rock Hill. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Rock Hill, SC. Visitation is on Friday, January 27, 2017, from 3-7 pm at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Dr., Fort Mill, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association to help aide in research.
