God showed His tremendous grace and mercy to Mason in her passing on Tuesday, December 13. She suddenly left us after a short battle with pneumonia, two weeks shy of her 17th birthday.
Mason was the sweetest Georgia Peach born in Atlanta on Christmas Eve 2005. She moved to Fort Mill, SC almost immediately and joined the Fort Mill School District at the tender age of three moving through Sugar Creek Elementary, Springfield Elementary, Riverview Elementary, Fort Mill Middle, and Nation Ford High School. Mason was loved and nurtured by every teacher and support staff along the way.
Mason was also embraced by an incredible network of care from Bayada Nursing, Rock Hill Pediatrics, South Carolina Department of Disability and Special Needs, Chit Chat Therapy, and Levine Children’s Hospital, among others.
Mason got a huge kick out of watching people living their lives, especially other kids. She was incapable of feeling resentment about her inability to participate and often let out a crazy high-pitched squeal of joy whenever she found something particularly funny, and she found a lot of things funny. Mason is deeply missed by her parents Woolf and Gabby, sisters Olivia and Lennox, and brother Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, Mason’s family asks you to consider donating to the Levine Children’s Hospital ICU ( https://fundraise.atriumhealthfoundation.org/give/255923/#!/donation/checkout ; select “Dedicate My Gift” to honoree “Mason London”; under “What would you like your donation to support?” select “LCH Pediatric ICU Fund”).
