Matthew ‘Brandon' ‘BR' Ewing (BizzyB in the DJ world) of Raleigh, NC passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at CMC-Pineville ICU with his mother and step dad by his side, due to congestive heart failure and thyroid complications. Brandon was born in Gastonia, NC on December 5, 1975. He was proud son of Stephen Lee Ewing (deceased). He is survived by his mother Jo Davis Ewing Pittman and step father Tom Pittman of Rock Hill, SC. He is brother to Shan Ewing, his wife Robin and his precious nieces that he loved dearly, Taylor and Chloe of Cayman. His life has been filled with love and guidance from his loving grandparents, uncles, aunts, many cousins and special friends. Growing up, Brandon was active in all sports. While attending North Ridge Ele and West Millbrook Middle school in Raleigh, NC, he played little league baseball, select soccer, football and basketball. After moving to Kennesaw, Ga. in 1989, he attended and graduated from North Cobb High School where he played football and basketball. He later moved back to Raleigh. Brandon loved life, Carolina Tar Heels, sports, fishing, cooking and art. He had a deep passion for music that lead him to become a DJ. Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home of Rock Hill, SC will be handling the arrangements. A memorial will be scheduled in late January.
