Melissa Louise Hefner

Melissa Louise “Lisa” Hefner , 50, of Rock Hill, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 5, 2019 at home. She was born February 9, 1969 in Chester, SC, daughter of Nancy Carol Hefner and the late Jerry Edward Hefner.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her fiancé, Robert Hunter and her dogs, Cedric and Buddy.

Lisa graduated from Lewisville High School in 1987. She worked at B & B Distributors for 22 years as a bookkeeper. Her hobbies included shopping, going to dinner, the movies, the beach and going on cruises. She loved her family and all of her fur babies.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Carol Hefner of Fort Lawn; sisters, Carmen Hefner of Myrtle Beach and Leslie Slaton (Billy) of York; niece, Ashley Carl of Lando and her daughters, Taylor Freeman and Zoey Hefner; nephew, Ben Hefner of Fort Lawn and Nick Slaton of York; and her beloved animals, Lando, Lucy, Bo and Tom.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Whitesell Funeral Home in Rock Hill. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
