Meredith Epps Orr

Mrs. Meredith Epps Orr, 94, of Edgemoor, SC passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010. A native of Darlington, SC, Mrs. Orr was born on September 13, 1916 a daughter of the late Grover and Maye Coltharp Epps. She was a retired executive secretary for Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company, and a member of Edgemoor ARP Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Alwin Hartwell Orr, Jr. Surviving are two daughters Sylvia Patterson (Alan) and Janis Threatt (Gary); one son Richard Orr; four grandchildren; and one sister Ruth Epps Faires. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Orr will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Edgemoor ARP Church Cemetery at 2:00pm with Rev. Todd Warnock officiating. The family will receive friends at the home from 12:00 until the hour of service on Thursday. Memorials in honor of Mrs. Orr may be made to Kershaw County Home Health and Hospice, 2001 West Dekalb Street, Camden, SC 29020.
