Michael Gene Blanton

Mr. Michael G. Blanton age 62 passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in the Hospice and Community Care, Rock Hill, SC. Born in Napoleon, Ohio a son of the late Hobert and Jean Blanton and husband of Terri Blanton. Michael worked as a courier for Solstas Labs in Charlotte North Carolina. Michael received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science in 1995 from The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Michael loved golf, reading books about philosophy, meeting and talking to people. Survivors include wife Terri of Fort Mill, South Carolina; his brother Stephen Blanton and wife Tereasa of Plantation, Florida. Nieces Erin Blanton of Margate, Florida; Erica Henderson of Orlando, Florida. Great nieces Stevie Henderson and Johnnie Henderson of Orlando, Florida; In laws Ron and wife Patsy Cowart of Tookiedoo-Elgin, South Carolina; other relatives including Randy and Millie Chitwood of Charlotte, North Carolina; Randi Jaye, Madison and Steven Barnhardt of Charlotte, North Carolina. Memorial service will be held November 3, 2013 at 2 PM from Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Kakadelis officiating.
