Michael Hoyt Dillard

Michael Hoyt Dillard 58 years of age, passed peacefully on April 22, 2021.

Michael was born February 6, 1963 in Columbus Georgia, to Homer and Carol Dillard.

Michael is the guy who loves to pull your chain.  The closer to him you are, the more fun he has messing with you.  It is the true highlight of his personality and takes you by surprise.  Without warning or the slightest hint, he will let you off the hook and at that point you knew he was one of the warmest, most charming guys you will ever meet and love.

Michael, an IT 15-year veteran leader for Charter Communications. Served as Senior Manager of Audit and Compliance and as a Microsoft expert.  He was well-respected and became an influential industry leader who was admired by coworkers for his storytelling and gregarious personality.

He is gratefully survived by his loving wife Sharon Dillard, his two sons Logan age 19, Jake age 12, two stepdaughters Sami age 18, Autumn age 16, stepson Patrick Kelly age 28 and his sister Pamela Johnson.  Preceded by death by his parents Carol & Homer Dillard.

Services will be held Friday April 30, 2021 4:00pm at Palmetto Funeral Home 2049 Carolina Pl Dr. Fort Mill, SC 29708 - services will also be live streamed.
