On February 18, 2015 Michael Keith Kimbrell, 48, of Rock Hill was called home. After a short and difficult fight, he won his battle with Leukemia. Born and raised in Rock Hill SC, he served his country through the Marine Corp, the Army National Guard Aviation unit and served an active duty tour in Iraq as a Crew Chief on Blackhawk helicopters. He was happy to be outdoors hunting, fishing or riding his motorcycle. Mike was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Mike is survived by his wife of 13 years, Kacey and his two beautiful daughters, Mikayla and Madison. Although predeceased by his father Martin Kimbrell Jr, he is also survived by his mother, Nancy Kimbrell, sister Debbie Miller and husband Walter; niece Shannon Franey and husband Chris, their children Houston, Noah and Aydon and best friend Forrest Thompson. Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, in Rock Hill, is coordinating visitation on Sunday February 22, 2015 from 6-8 pm and funeral service on February 23, 2015 at 2 pm immediately followed by graveside memorial.
