Michael Singletary Funeral Service

Rock Hill, SC – Mr. : J. Singletary, 64, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Atrium Health, Charlotte, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 pm (Noon), Monday, December 9, 2024, at Transformation Church, 1212 Transformation Lane, Indian Land, SC 29707 with Pastor Paul Allen officiating.  There will be a public viewing at the church 30 minutes before the start of service (11:30 am).

The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of Miami, Florida, Michael was a son of Nealie Brewington of Columbia, SC and the late James Singletary.  Michael will be remembered for his love of Aviation.  He served in the United States Navy and continued his role in aviation as the operations manager at the Rock Hill Airport.  He loved entertaining guests poolside and traveling.  He enjoyed spending time with his fur babies, Gigi, Rosie, Freddie, and Lola.  However, the most important aspect of Michael’s life was his love for the Lord and his family.

In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his wife, Malisha Singletary; two sons, Michael Singletary of Maryland and Andrew Faulkenbury; a daughter, Rachel Singletary of Rock Hill, SC; a sister, Sharon Boyd of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, Jermaine Singletary, Darryl Singletary of Columbia, SC, and Donald Singletary, of Charleston, SC. Michael was preceded in death by his two brothers, Charlie Singletary and Lorenzo Conyers.
