Mildred Shaw Hamilton

Mildred Shaw Hamilton, 92, of McConnells, met her Savior on Wednesday night, September 9, 2020. She was Born on May 27, 1928 in Charlotte to the late Bill Shaw, Sr. and Pat Shaw.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frank Hamilton as well as her sister, Blanche Louise Stiles and granddaughter Tracey Lynne Hamilton.

She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church for 52 years and loved watching baseball and basketball as well as gardening with Frank.

She is survived by her sons: Don Hamilton (Lynne), Lin Hamilton (Dale), Boyce Hamilton and friend Shelley; Grandchildren Joe Hamilton(Ashley), Wade Tumblin (Tamera), Brett Hamilton (Lauren), Jessicia Hamilton and Bryan Hamilton; six great grandchildren; Brother Billy Shaw, Jr. and brothers-in-law Edward Hamilton and C. Donald Hamilton.

Family visitation will be held on Sunday September 13, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Family Life Center at Eastview Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life at 3:00pm in the adjacent Education Building.

The family would like to extend their sincere love and appreciation to all the hospice staff and the staff at Carolina Gardens of York for their compassion, love and care for mother during this period. And to the members of Eastview Baptist Church which were her extended family, she loved you very much.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Agape Hospice of Rock Hill or St. Jude’s Children Hospital whom she supported for 20 years.
