Mildred F. Mcdaniel

Mrs. Mildred F. McDaniel, 98, of Rock Hill, passed away on Monday August 30, 2021 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, GA. Mrs. McDaniel was born January 13, 1923 in Rock Hill and was a life-long Rock Hill resident until recently moving to Georgia with her granddaughter. She was a devoted wife, mother, and “Granny”. She cherished her long tenure in the church choir and always remained a bright light, laughing and sharing her stories with family and friends.

Survivors are her three grandchildren; Millie Day, Brandy McDaniel-Betancourt, and Mike McDaniel; seven great grandchildren; Jon Day, Rebecca Day-Walker, Dylan Day, Riley Betancourt, Ramiree McDaniel, Maybree McDaniel and Bentley McDaniel; one great-great grandchild, Easton Walker.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the aides, hospice nurses, physicians and staff, her beloved Cornerstone United Methodist Church family and all her friends for their unwavering compassionate and supportive care that was provided. A special thank you from the family to Winny Kazunga and Nu-Tisha Hopkinson, your kindness will never be forgotten.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill, SC.
