Ms. Mildred L. Waldrop (Maw Maw Mil) age 82, passed away peacefully Wednesday November 30, 2022. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Carlton H. Lowery and Sarah W. Lowery and was one of 6 siblings. She is survived by her children Sheila & Aaron Fields, Roger & Mistie Waldrop and Kelly Waldrop, her brother Jackie & Nancy Lowery, sister-in-law Sylvania Lowery. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren Brittney Crofts, Michelle Waldrop, Jesika & Randy Self, Briana Ford, Shane Waldrop, Gavin Waldrop, Jordyn Ford, and her 8 great-grandchildren, whom she adored, Haley Self, Noah Self, Camryn Self, Avry Crofts, Mason Crofts, Addison Kaska, Mylah Waldrop, and Penelope Waldrop. Mildred also had many nieces, nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Mildred was a member at Woodhaven Baptist Church for many years. She loved and greatly missed being active with her church family the last few years however she continued to stay strong in her faith of Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Woodhaven Baptist Church Mildred Waldrop memorial fund.
There will be a graveside memorial service at Forest Hills Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Tuesday December 6, 2022, 4290 Old York Rd.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at Woodhaven Baptist Church 12:00 – 1:30 PM located at 2060 Marett Blvd.
