Minnie Lou Lorita Mcwatters

Minnie Lou Lorita McWatters , 83, of Rock Hill, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at Pruitt Health of Rock Hill. She was born January 16, 1935 in Chester, SC, daughter of the late James Alexander and Bessie Jeanette Quinton McWatters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 8 brothers, Albert, Sr., Clarence, Tom, Dewey, Carl, Bob, Gene and Grady and one sister, Elizabeth King.

Minnie was a proud member of Knox Station Family Band and enjoyed singing and playing guitar.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Eva Simmers (Danny) of Rock Hill; brother, Harold McWatters of Chester; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Minnie’s Life will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Orr’s Baptist Church with Pastor Randall Runion and Pastor Curtis Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Minnie’s memory to Orr’s Baptist Church, 1266 Lancaster Hwy, Chester, SC 29706.
