Morton B. Cohen "Pop" of York, formerly of Newport, NC entered into rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
Mr. Cohen was retired from the United States Army after serving our country in WWII, Korean War and the Vietnam War. Following his retirement with the Army he worked with the Pennsylvania Forestry Service.
He was a charter member of The National WWII Museum; Lodge Master Masonic Lodge, Statin Island, NY, Lodge Master Masonic Lodge, Port Jervis, NY; Lakawaxen Fire Company, Newport Pig Cookin and was an avid model railroad enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by wife, Georgia Lois Cohen, Son, Robert Francis Cohen, Grandson, George Cohen
Survived by: Sons, Ronald Cohen and wife, Michelle Young, of Manchester, TN and Russell Cohen and wife Terese Cohen, of Shohola, PA; daughter, Elizabeth Blazejewski and husband Frank Blazejewski of York, SC, brother, Irwin Cohen and wife Gloria Cohen of Riveredge, NJ; grandchildren, Leo Cohen, Daniel Blazejewski, Allyson Blazejewski, Emily Cohen, Timothy Cohen, Jeffrey Young, Scott Young, Noelle Young, Russell Young; great grandchildren Jeffrey Young, Finley Young, Jimmy Young, Travis Young, Carter Young, and Pumpkin, his precious cat.
A celebration of life service will be held by the family.
