Mrs. Myrtle Fisher age 100 died Monday October 25, 2010 in Indian Land. Mrs. Fisher was born September 21, 1910 in Pineville, NC; a daughter of the late William E. McCoy and Minnie Nivens McCoy. Mrs Fisher was a avid farmer who raised a variety of animals, a loving mother and grandmother and friend to all. She was married to the late Sam Fisher, Sr. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers, daughter-in-law Lona Fisher and granddaughter Stacie Oliphant Spell.

Survivors include a son Sam Fisher, Jr; a daughter Doris Oliphant both of Indian Land; three grandsons Scott and Chris Fisher and Todd Oliphant.

Funeral Service to Celebrate Mrs. Fisher life will be held Saturday October 30, 2010 at 1pm at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Mill with Rev. Chris Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery in Charlotte, NC.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:50 prior to the service at the funeral home.
