Nancy Lou (Tiller) Goodwin

April 13, 1932 — February 8, 2021

Nancy Lou Tiller Goodwin, age 88 of Rock Hill passed away Monday, February 8, 2021.

She was born April 13, 1932 in Rock Hill to the late Joe Neely Tiller Sr. and Evie Ellen Horne Tiller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jo Yarborough and her brother J. Neely Tiller Jr.

Nancy was employed as a customer service clerk at Verona Dyestuffs, Inmont Corp., and BASF in Charlotte.

A Charter member of Epworth United Methodist Church and later a member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and Bible school.

Survivors include her daughter Rogenia Stevenson and her husband Bruce, one son Mike Goodwin and his wife Donna. Five grandchildren; Garret Stevenson, Anna Owens (Rodney), Kaley Goodwin (Robert Allen), Colby Goodwin and Chris Smith (Kayla) and six great grandchildren; Evelyn, Bradley, Maddie, Rileigh, Caroline and Charlotte.

Friends may view Nancy at the funeral home Friday from 1:00pm until 2:30 pm. The funeral service will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Palmetto Region, 1057 Red Ventures Dr. Suite 150 Fort Mill SC 29707.

The funeral service will be live streamed at 11:00 Saturday. You may watch by liking the Facebook page,  “ Palmetto Funeral Group”.

After the service our staff will post it to our Facebook page so you may watch the service at a later time.

Bass-Cauthen funeral home staff provides the streaming services for those who cannot attend or are uncomfortable in a group setting.

The funeral home staff and the family of Mrs. Goodwin would like for us all to be safe and ask that we follow the appropriate guidelines for public gatherings.
