Nancy Jane Gunn

Rock Hill, SC - Ms. Nancy Jane Gunn, 59, died Sunday, September 24, 2023.

A native of Rock Hill, SC, Ms. Gunn was the daughter of the late Davis Howard Gunn and Louella Jane Canty.  Ms. Gunn is a proud tribal member of The Catawba Indian Nation; she was a business owner of Professional Business Services here in Rock Hill.  She also had a passion for her beloved cats, enjoying the time she spent raising them and providing them with a good home.  In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with all her family or her favorite place to visit, Catawba Two Kings Casino.

Surviving is her brother, David H. Gunn, Sr. (Nancy) of Rock Hill; and her nephews, David Gunn, Jr. (Angel) of Rock Hill and Frank Cato of Chester, SC; her niece, Jennifer Gaston (Matt) of Chester, SC.  While she did not have children of her own, she always had a special bond with her many great nieces and great nephews; Kendell (Kaleb), Brooklyn (Uno), Cayden, Renee, Aleisha (Bret), Ashley (Thatcher), & Faith, with whom she loved each of you dearly.  Nancy Jane always enjoyed her secret sister's group, especially her dear friends Julie Orr and her late husband Bill.

Our family also wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care of Fort Mill for their care of her over the last few years, and a special thank you to Dr. John Fassler a wonderful and caring physician.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Whitesell Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Catawba Ward.  Graveside service will follow in the cemetery.
