Nancy Beck Spake

Mrs. Nancy B. Spake, 78, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Carolina's Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. Born September 10, 1939 in Asheboro, NC. to the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Beck, Jr. In her earlier years, Mrs. Spake was publisher of The Charlotte Shopper while residing in Charlotte, NC. After moving to Tega Cay, SC. in 1987, she and her family opened Will's Pawn Shop where she worked as owner and operator.
Nancy Spake was known by many for her positive spirit and unconditional love for family and friends.

Nancy is survived by husband, William Spake, Jr., daughter Laurie Spake, son William Spake III, daughter-in-law Courtnie Spake, grandchildren Will, Jordan and Allie, as well as her brother Donnie Beck.

Memorial service will be held at Carolinas Cornerstone Church Thursday September 21 at 7:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
