Nancy Johnson Starnes

Nancy Johnson Starnes, 60, of Rock Hill, SC passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Born in Chester, SC, Mrs. Starnes was a daughter of Ernestine Cannon and the late Tuney Johnson. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing with her puppies and cats, and spending time with family, especially her grandbabies. She graduated Great Fall High School in 1972. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Philip Curtis Starnes; her children, Tiffany Starnes, Sharon Jones, Jamie Laws, Philip Starnes, Jr., and Anna Starnes; her siblings, Ernest Johnson, June Bush and Terry Kukral, Karl and Ann Marie Johnson, Frankie and Shannon Rape, and Monty and Wanda Rape; and 11 grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Starnes will be held in the Chapel at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2pm. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 993 Rock Hill, SC 29731.
