On Friday, December 27, 2024, beloved partner, mother, daughter, sister, and friend Natalia "Natasha" Casselhoff passed away at the age of 47 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Natasha will be eternally remembered by her significant other, Jim McCormick, and his son Cole, by her daughters Ella (16) and Maya (14), her mother, Galina Gilimovich, her brother Alexander (Sasha) Gilimovich and his wife Raisa and their three children Evelina, Sonya and Mark, and her sister-in-law Marci Feinberg and her husband Peter and her daughter Mia and son Max. She was predeceased by her father, Nikoli Gilimovich, and former husband, Jeff Casselhoff.
Natasha was born on May 23, 1977 in Belarus. After graduating from university and with her parents' blessing, she made the journey to the United States at the age of 22 in July of 1999, landing in Ocean City, Maryland. In the same year, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters Degree. It was there that she married Jeff Casselhoff and, over the course of their marriage, gave birth to Ella and Maya. After Jeff's passing from cancer in 2016, she moved herself and the girls to Ft. Mill, SC. She said, “I am most proud of making a move to a state where I knew no one, getting a job and successfully working that job, all while raising my two girls on my own.”
The support shown her and her family by her friends, an amazing group of women, as she battled her disease is a testament to the type of person she was. She eternally thanks each and every one of them.
