Ned Arthur Settlemyer

Ned Arthur Settlemyer, 84, of 714 Ole Simpson Place, passed away Tuesday, July, 2010 at Agape Senior of Rock Hill.A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Settlemyer was born October 16, 1925 a son of the late William Everette and Claudie Lee Crenshaw Settlemyer. He was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Alma Ruth Fields Settlemyer and a son Jerry Settlemyer.Surviving are his children Michael Settlemyer, Pat Settlemyer and his wife Debbie; Terri Hepp and her husband Mark all of Rock Hill; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Thursday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Settlemyer will be held Friday at 11:00am in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Morris and Reverend John Bauknight officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on S. Cherry Road. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 1317 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732
