Nellie Gibson Lefevers

Nellie Gibson "The Last of The Golden Girls" Lefevers, 92, a resident of Wellington House in Gastonia, passed away Sunday December 12, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lefevers will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel, Bessemer City, with Rev. James Hamrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, Nellie was born August 28, 1918 a daughter of the late Olin and Tricola Rippy Gibson and was a member of Pathway Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.She is survived by three sons and six daughters who gave her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Pathway Baptist Church
