Nellie Mccammon Mullinax

Stanley NC - Mrs. Nellie (Nell) McCammon Mullinax, 81, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Stanley Total Living Center.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at Grandview Memorial Cemetery - Cherry Road with Revs. Ivan Davis and Roger Brown officiating.

A native of Fort Mill, she was a daughter of the late John H. McCammon and Annie B. Denton McCammon. She graduated from Fort Mill High School, Class of 1945. She was a member of the Fort Mill Church of the Nazarene. She retired after 39 years at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company. The last five years with Springs Industries at Indian Land.

Surviving are her son, Roger Mullinax and his wife Shirley of Belmont, NC; one daughter, Charlene McCollum and her husband Roger of Rock Hill; four grandchildren: Kimberly Walker and her husband Mike of Indian Trails, NC, Rebekah Wilkinson and her husband Lontz of Rock Hill, Troy Sharpe and his wife Sherri of Dallas, NC and Derek McCollum of Rock Hill; and five great grandchildren: Jackson Ware McCollum, Davis and Grace Wilkinson and Chase and Reese Sharpe. She is also survived by two nieces whom she made her home with for 23 years, Carol Howie and Jean Kranz.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Whitesell Funeral Home.
