Mr. Nicholas Parastschenko, 69, formerly of Augusta, NJ, died peacefully at his home in Fort Mill, SC on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, surrounded by his family. Born in Passau, W.Germany, he came to the United States in 1956, settling in Paterson, NJ. He attended Cumberland College in Kentucky before serving in Vietnam with the US Army. He had a successful career as a design draftsman & estimator for Supreme Heating & Air Conditioning in Middlesex, NJ. He loved gardening, fishing and was a die hard Yankees fan. Mr. Parastschenko was the son of the late Volodamir & Maria Parastschenko. He is survived by his wife, Annedore Parastschenko; three daughters, Kristina Roselle of Lafayette, NJ, Jenifer Green and son-in-law Matthew Green of Pottstown, PA, and Andrea Parastschenko of Netcong, NJ, two brothers; Victor Parastschenko and his wife Inge of Fort Mill, SC and Walter Parastschenko and his wife Angelica of Hawthorne, NJ, five grandchildren; Maria & Jacob Roselle and Andrew, Patrick, and Adam Green, a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:30 am at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Incarnation, 220 Hamburg Turnpike, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442.
