Nora Garcia De La Garza

Nora Garcia De La Garza, 77, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on September 7, 2024. Born on September 11, 1946, in San Antonio, TX, Nora graduated from Providence Catholic School in 1964, and received her Education Degree from The University of Houston in 1969. She was employed by Texas Employment Commission and the East Baton Rouge Parish Library System. She has resided in San Antonio, TX, Beaumont, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, and Indian Land, SC. Nora is survived by her daughters, Veronica Craven and husband Chad Craven, and Sarah Moran and husband Justin Moran; and her grand-daughter Lindsey Craven; as well as her sister, Irene Garcia; and her niece, Monica Cabico; her nephews, Joey San Martin and Richard San Martin; and her cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald (Ron) De La Garza; her father and mother, Tomas and Bertha Garcia; and her beloved pets. She will be buried in San Fernando Cemetery II in San Antonio, TX. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter in Nora's name.
