Oliver Wayne Estes

Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Oliver Wayne Estes, 81, died Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill.

The family will receive friends 5 – 7 pm Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 1127 Manor Close Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

A native of Rock Hill, SC Mr. Estes was the son of the late Fred Lesslie Estes and Alma Ferguson Estes.  He will be remembered as a jokester who enjoyed humor in life.  He loved all of his junk that he had collected, and you could always find him at an auction.  He loved pulling for his Panthers, especially when they won.  He always had a strong love for his family.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Carrie Yvonne Bigham Estes; two children, Wanda Estes (Edna) and Ron Estes (Karen); a sister, Faye Crawford; a daughter-in-law, Tori Estes; nine grandchildren, Alex Dye, Brittany Estes, Brooke Estes, Lindsey Estes, Dylan Williamson, Mitchell Needham, Brinkley Needham, Kayla Henson, and Melissa Catledge; and two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Estes and Parker Williamson.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Estes and Darrell Estes; and four brothers, Richard Estes, James Estes, Marion Estes and Donnie Estes.
