OPAL LEIGH BASTON STEPHENSON

Mrs. Opal Leigh Baston Stephenson
went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2010. Born in Cayce, SC, Mrs. Stephenson was the daughter of the late Shelton H. and Helen Sawyer Baston. She was a retired registered nurse, who worked for the Red Cross and Home Health. Mrs. Stephenson was preceded in death by three brothers.

Opal Stephenson is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rev. James T. Stephenson, her brother Owens Baston, of Lexington, SC, her three children (Tom Stephenson of Burlington, NC, Rachel Reynolds of Rock Hill, SC, and Ruth Sanders of Raleigh, NC), six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at Rogers Memorial ARP Church on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.. A visitation will be at Rogers Memorial from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.. Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Community Care, P.O.Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
