Pansy Lipe Ayers

– Mrs. Pansy Lipe Ayers, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, at Whitesell Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Ayers. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Rock Hills, SC.

A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. Ayers was a daughter of the late Jessie Lee Lipe and Rosie Reese Lipe. She enjoyed attending Refuge Church, Rock Hill, SC, even when she was sick and hurting, reading her Bible and listening to Christian Music. She enjoyed her family time and Sunday dinners.

Surviving are her son, Kenny Ayers (Kimi); a daughter, Angela Weeks (Edward); a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ayers; two sisters, Edna Ruiz and Katie Osborne; 9 grandchildren, Lee Ayers, Ken Ayers, Jr., Eric Ayers, Phillip Ayers, Crystal Madden, Joel Ayers, Brett Weeks, Tiffany Patterson, and Joshua Weeks; 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Lee Ayers; 3 brothers, 17 sisters, and a son Dennis L. Ayers, Sr.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Whitesell Funeral Home and other times at the home 203 McClain Street, York SC.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Ayers by the staff at Providence Care Hospice and the hospice chapel, Sam Murphy.
