Patricia Ann Hynes

Patricia Hynes aged 84 passed away on March 19th, 2023. She was daughter of Late Michael and Mary Hynes, Sister of Margaret Sullivan and Late Michael Steven Hynes. Aunt to Michael Sullivan, Richard Sullivan, Diane Sullivan, Denise Pittman, Thomas Sullivan, Brian Sullivan, Michael Hynes, Margaret Hyne and Elizabeth Nixon.

Born and raised in Queens New York, as an adult she moved first to Seaford NY for several years then moved to Massapequa NY where she lived for 44 years before joining the rest of her family in the Carolinas in 2022.

She had a love of Ireland and visited many times over the years and connected with family members still living there.

She began her career working for AT & T Inc then transferred to NYNEX and finally retired from the corporate world with Verizon Inc. She then worked the next 24 year as a librarian for the Massapequa Public Library, Massapequa NY.

Viewing will be held Sunday March 26th at Palmetto Funeral Home of Fort Mill, 2049 Carolina Place, Ft Mill SC 29715 from 2-4 pm.

Funeral will be held Monday March 27* at St Phillip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Road East, Fort Mill SC 29715 at 11 am.

A viewing service will also be held Wednesday March 29* at William E Law Funeral Home, 1 Jerusalem Avenue, Massapequa NY from 8am to 9:15 am followed by a service at St William the Abbot Church, Seaford NY at 9:30 am. Burial will be at St Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale NY.
