Patricia Beaty Kimbrell

Shallotte, NC – Mrs. Patricia Beaty Kimbrell, 73, formerly of Edgemoor, SC, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, NC.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018, at Whitesell Funeral Home with Rev. Tyler Blue officiating. The family will receive friends from Noon until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Rock Hill, SC.

Born in Charlotte, NC Mrs. Kimbrell was a daughter of the late Bernard Alexander Beaty and Annie Hardin Minter Beaty. She was known by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as Pappy. She enjoyed working in the yard. She also loved bowling and she worked with a handicapped bowling league in Rock Hill.

Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Saylors and her husband, Randy; a brother, Donald Beaty; two sisters, Sue Newell and her husband, Kirby and Jayne Shelley and her husband, Dale; two grandchildren, Devin Saylors and Brandi Broome; and three great-grandchildren.
