Patricia Ann Russell-Carroll

Patricia "Patty" Ann Russell Carroll of Rock Hill, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday October 1, 2015, to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Rock Hill on April 5, 1937 to the late William Lindsay Russell and Mary Ella Comer Russell. On June 30, 1956 she married Charles E. "Sonny" Carroll and they have celebrated 59 wonderful years together. Patty, also known as "Grammy", was a beautiful Christian woman who loved her Lord, family and friends. She graduated from Rock Hill High School and retired as Fewell Park Center Supervisor with the City of Rock Hill. She is survived by her loving husband, Sonny; Sons Rusty Carroll (Donna), Chris Carroll (Cindy); Daughters Kellye King (Merritt) and Jamie Allen, all of Rock Hill; Sister Rena Holmes (Craig) of Myrtle Beach; 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren that she loved dearly and her loving pet Angel. A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held Sunday October 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC, with the Rev. Jerry Devinney and Dr. Larry Soles officiating. A private family Burial will be held at Grand View Memorial Park. Family will receive friends following the memorial service and at the home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, where she worked for 6 years.
