Patricia Darlene Terlinde Sutton

Rock Hill - Mrs. Patricia Darlene Terlinde Sutton, 82, died Friday, April 28, 2017, at Pruitt Health.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Whitesell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home and other times at the homes of Donna Elkins,717 Rockwood Drive, Rock Hill, SC and Joey and Jackie Sutton, 3965 Winter Road, Rock Hill, SC. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park. The family will also receive friends following the services at the home of Joey and Jackie Sutton.

A native of St. Paul, Minn. Mrs. Sutton was a daughter of the late William A Terlinde and Margarite Binstok. She was the widow of Joseph Donald "Don" Sutton, Sr. She was retired from McCrory's Dime Store after 50 years of service where she was the lunch counter manager. She loved her job and she was always smiling, laughing and never spoke an ill word about anyone. She enjoyed ceramics and made several porcelain dolls. She loved to read and watch her son race SCCA. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and loved them very much.

Surviving are a son, Joey Sutton (Jackie); a daughter, Donna S. Elkins; a sister, Mitzie Phillips (Rev. Butch Phillips) a grandson, Robert Donald Campbell; and a devoted family friend, Cinde Tadlock. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Terlinde and Lloyd Terlinde; and her step-mother, Josephine Terlinde.
