Patrick Turner Powers, 50, of Indian Land, South Carolina, passed away on April 14, 2022. Patrick was born in Tennessee, graduated from Rockwood High School, and attended Tennessee Technological University. Patrick’s career continued in sales with Omega Plastics, tesa tape, Centria, and most recently, with Brucha, an Austrian company, in which he helped to launch a US division.
Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents Hershel and Peggy Scandlyn. He is survived by his wife Morgan Powers; by his sons Carson and Zac Powers; by his daughters Rylee and Turner Powers; by his mother Anne Powers; by his sisters Charlene Artale Wiser and Maggie Bouldin; by his nieces Katie and Meg Dreher and his nephews John and Dan Dreher; and by his many friends.
Patrick was a devoted husband and a loving father who enjoyed watching all four of his children learn and grow. He always possessed a keen mind for business and was an enthusiastic traveler, most recently having returned from a cross-country road trip with his son Zac. Anyone who was lucky enough to interact with him would readily remember his clever, enduring sense of humor and his prodigious musical talent; having a chance to hear Patrick playing guitar was an incomparable blessing, and his presence likewise brought a feeling of harmony to the lives of those he knew and loved which will be dearly missed.
The celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 24 at Palmetto Funeral Home at 2049 Carolina Place Fort Mill, SC 29708 at 1:00 PM (the event will also be live-streamed).
