Paul Wayne Doby, 80, passed away at Piedmont Medical Center on August 2, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Paul was born November 23, 1943 to Thomas and Blanch (Deaton) Doby in Charlotte NC.  Throughout his years, he lived in Charlotte and Gaston County.
