Paul Robert Joseph

Paul Robert Joseph, 70, of Indian Land, SC and formerly of West Warwick, RI, passed away, August 25, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Marion Angel, uncle Manny Joseph, and mother-in-law Helen Chagnon.

Paul loved to tell stories and make people laugh; he was never without a joke or a prank. He was a hard worker who never turned down helping anyone complete any task. As a life-long auto mechanic, he enjoyed his days building and fixing engines.

As a lover of NASCAR and drag racing, Paul was a member of the National Hot Rod Association, and was once asked to join Paul Newman’s race team to build race engines. His favorite hobby was building models. Paul’s vast collection of models was a sight to see. Paul enjoyed attending church with his wife and friends and going out to eat.

Most important to him was his family and he will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.

Paul leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by his survivors, Mary Joseph; his wife of 40 years, Ann  Joseph; daughters,  Jennifer Ramieri and husband, Andy of Indian Land, SC,  Julie Bilodeau and husband, Michael of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren,  John-Paul Ramieri, Andrew Ramieri, and Kate Bilodeau.

A funeral mass will be held by the family at St. Philip Neri on Saturday, September 12th at 10 a.m. A private burial will take place at The Oratory Rock Hill.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the hospice nurses, physicians and staff and his beloved church family and friends for their unwavering compassionate and supportive care that was provided.  Your kindness will never be forgotten.
