Philip Procaccini Jr, 42

PJ Procaccini passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 19th, 2023 in Rock Hill, SC at the age of 42. He was surrounded by loved ones. PJ is survived by his parents, Phil and Patti Procaccini, his brother Jamie Procaccini, and his girlfriend Alison Hoch. He is preceded in death by Judy Procaccini, his aunt.

PJ was born on August 19th, 1980, to Phil and Patti Procaccini in Marlton, NJ. He graduated from Elon University with a degree in Sports and Leisure Management. After graduation, he moved to Charlotte to pursue his professional goals. PJ excelled at everything he did, and this was no different.

Outside of his professional life, PJ was passionate about many things: the Phillies, the Flyers, but nothing more so than softball. On the field he was a leader, a fantastic teammate, a fierce competitor, and an incredibly talented player. He was easily distinguished by a low-hanging, flat billed hat and perfectly executed streaks of eye black.

Off the field, he was a loyal friend, loving son, loving brother, and supportive partner. PJ touched many lives, and his kindness was seen by everyone he met. He always had a seat open at his table and was always willing to share whatever was there. PJ would have done anything to help someone out.

While all will mourn the loss of PJ from this earth, his life will be celebrated, and his legacy marveled at; just as he would have wanted. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

There will be a Visitation on July 23, 2023 from 1-3 pm at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home in the Chapel.
