Phillip Bennett

January 17, 1955 — October 10, 2019

Fort Mill – Mr. Phillip Bennett, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Atrium Health Charlotte, NC.

Memorial services will be 5:00 pm Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Unity at Calvary Church of God, 550 Hollis Lakes Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732, with Revs. James Locklair, Jr. and Terry Floyd officiating.

A native of Richland County Mr. Bennett was a son of Barbara Joann Maness Bennett and the late Dwight Travis Bennett. He enjoyed painting, photography, and anything to do with computers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite snack was Little Debbie Cakes.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his significant other, Peggy Sue Patterson; a daughter, Heather McKenzie and her husband, Murphy; a step-daughter, Erica Floyd and her husband, Taft; a step-son, Travis Bayne and his partner, David Campbell; a brother, Duane Bennett; a sister, Donna Bennett; 6 grandchildren, Alexandria Little, Gabriel Little, Mac McKenzie, Dalton Floyd, Braelyn Floyd, and Faron Floyd; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Bennett Brown.
